Seattle Vacation
Justin and I went to Seattle May 20th-26th. Justin stayed until the 29th for work. We stayed with Paige and Devan and had a blast! Seattle was beautiful, and I never saw a drop of rain. Justin even got sun burnt. We went to Pikes Market on Thursday,Friday we went to the Museum of flight. Both were really neat. We were able to walk through the original Air Force One plane. It was crazy! On Friday night we went to Oceanaire for dinner. It was our fancy meal. I had lamb that was amazing, Justin had steak and lobster, Devan had salmon and Paige scallops. We really enjoyed it. Saturday we went to the Locks and watch the boats go from the Harbor out to sea. It was really interesting. Sunday was church and relax day. Monday Paige and I went for a run and Devan and Justin went to the gym. Then Paige and I went scrapbook shopping and met up with the guys for a BBQ with some people in their ward. After that we went to the track and bet our life savings on the ponies! J/K But it was fun to watch the races. Then we had Tai food for dinner. It was good. A lot spicy but really tasty. I left bright and early Tues. Morning. I flew into Weiser and picked up the girls and drove home. It was a nightmare. Urban screamed for 4 of the 5 hours. By the end Hazel was pinching and hitting him because she was so annoyed. I tried to stop her but felt like doing the same thing. Let just say I won't be doing that again. Justin stayed and worked for the next four days and enjoyed hanging out with Paige and Devan some more. It was such a fun trip! Thanks Paige and Devan!! And also a big thanks to Steve and Mary Ann for taking our girls. They had so much fun! They are still talking about grandma and all the things she gave them and did with them. Thanks so much!!! Here are some pics of our trip. Off to the races. Emerald Downs Race Track. Watching the races. Making Money! The Locks. Museum of Flight. A stroll around the Park. Pikes Market.
Yahoo! I'm so excited you are back to the blogging world. It will take me time to get through all the posts. I have always wanted to go to Seattle! Looks like you had fun (minus the screaming kids)
