A little catch up!

If you didn't read the previous post you might want to. And as for this one, Here are some random pictures of our lives lately. We have just been at home, playing at the park, The girls graduated from Preschool, and my Dad's 50th in Beaver.

It has Finally Happened!!!

I have been without internet for the past month and a half, so I am sorry about not posting anything, but I think it is a good excuse. But this bit of news had to be shared.
              Justin got a new job!!!
We are making a move to WISCONSIN! Justin got a job with Trek Bicycles. We are super excited and terrified at the same time. I am so excited to have a husband again, But it is so far from family and everything that is familiar to me.
Justin will be leaving in about 2 weeks (that is the plan anyways, He could end up leaving sooner if Attask says they don't want a 2 week.) And the kids and I will follow after we find a place to live. We are hoping to buy something.  I will probably just hang around and spend my time visiting family until I leave.  Wish us luck!!

Easter!!!

Easter was a lot of fun. Because Brandon and Zeffie were already in SLC area, we didn't go to St. George as planned. Instead we went to me aunt Lori's house and did the whole shabang there. We dyed eggs had a hunt and had lunch. It was fun to be with family. Thanks Lori for letting us use your beautiful home!

Hazel sitting on the couch. The dogs had escaped her grasp for about two seconds. She loved the dogs. To bad her daddy will NEVER let her have one.
Daddy and Urban coloring eggs
Layla's cheesy I don't want to look at you smile.
What a sweet boy. Who couldn't resist those eyes?

Our silly girl.

Running to get as many as she can.
He got one sucker and couldn't have cared less about the rest.
Hazy did a lot better than last year. This year she filled her basket and then opened the eggs later!

PROJECTS!!!!

I've been wanting to refinish some of our furniture for quite a while now and finally got around to doing it.  Here are some pictures of the finished products.  It was quite a bit of work, mostly keeping the kids from painting the floor and everything else in the garage, but it was fun to do.

Justin helped me put a new top on the table. The pictures don't really do justice to how big it is. We are ready to have a dinner party now! We can comfortably seat 10. Now I need more chairs.

Tatum Jacob Christensen

These are the pictures that I took of my handsome nephew last night. He was born Yesterday the 26th. Later in the day he was life flighted up to Primary children's and will undergo surgery today. They will be fixing his esophagus and attaching it to his stomach. He was born 6lbs 2oz. and is such a sweet calm little guy. He seems to be doing well, but all thoughts and prayers would be appreciated.

Blood, Blood Everywhere!

My St. Patties Day was a little trying. After what was a relatively good day, I was cleaning the Girls room and getting them all ready for bed. I asked Urban to throw something away for me. (He loves to throw things in the garbage and to be helpful right now.) So he did it and then I heard whimpering. He is a rather whinny child so I didn't think twice about it. I just ignored him until he came back. He walked up to me and shoved his little hand in my face with an empty mandarin orange can stuck to it. I hadn't removed the very sharp lid off the can and he had stuck his finger down in the can. When he tried to pull it out the lid came up with it. I tried to push his finger back down inside so I could get it free, but of course a one year old doesn't understand that logic. So he pulled even harder the opposite direction. Long story short, He cut up his finger really well and I had to take him into the after hours doctor. It bled like crazy and I was driving with no other adult help. Layla helped as best she could, but to say the least he was covered in blood when we made it to the doctor. He also kept putting his hands in his mouth. So he had blood all down his face too. I have never been to a doctors visit when I have been admitted without a wait or paperwork. I guess we looked a little scary. The doctor durabonded the cut and said that would hold for 3 or 4 days. (Little did he know what he was up against. Urban tore through it in less than 24 hours. By then they said they couldn't do anything for it.) These are some pictures of the aftermath. I really wish I had been able to get a picture of what we looked like walking in to the doctors. But they cleaned all the blood off his hands, arms and face. I can't imagine why!

The pictures are not the best, but it had been a crappy night!
